No, the cable works with any power supply with a USB port. However, if you want to get the most out of it, use our Mcdodo power supplies.

3) How long will the cable last? Won't it break after a month?

With standard use, the cable should last up to several years. If there is no mechanical damage to it, we guarantee that it will work for 24 months. i.e. free replacement with a working copy.
